Mike’s is the academic home of over 5,400 students and we make sure that everyone can thrive!  We are proud to award over a million dollars’ worth of scholarships and bursariesevery year. Our Registrar’s Office is always here to support you with 1-1 advising appointments.  Our Academic Success Centre offers a range of academic supports and hosts our undergraduate research colloquium. Our faculty are some of the best in the world. We also sponsor four prestigious academic programs that are open to all students in Arts & Science, regardless of college affiliation.

From Welcome Day to Orientation Weekto your final exams, St. Mike’s sets you up for success. Every incoming student is matched with a personal librarian and belongs to our first-year check-in-with-a-prof program. Our popular interdisciplinary SMC One and Foundations courses are designed especially for first-years. Taught by leading professors, they nurture curiosity, build skills, help you meet friends, and involve learning experiences beyond the classroom.

Our students come from a variety of countries, cultures, and backgrounds – and every one contributes to our wonderful community! We have tonnes of student clubs that cater to every interest. Our outdoor Christmas Market and clubs fairs are highlights of every season. Students and staff connect at a variety of special events throughout the year. We are also home to a popular Wellness Studiothat offers classes in everything from martial arts to yoga!

Mike’s is located on 12 acres of beautiful, historic grounds adjacent to Queen’s Park. Students in residence enjoy the benefits of a friendly neighbourhood in the heart of downtown Toronto. Residences range from stunningly beautiful historic houses to more recent buildings designed to match iconic architecture. Loretto Residence is all-female; other options offer single- and mixed-gender floors or buildings. The mix of first-year and upper-year residents at St. Mike’s contributes to a lively and supportive community that students remember for years.
